Nigerian Woman Deported from Hyderabad for Drug Trafficking
Upon receiving an exit permit from the FRRO, the police purchased a ticket worth Rs.46,500 and deported her to Lagos in Nigeria

Hyderabad: The Hyderabad police on Wednesday deported a woman Sylvenda Khasoha to her native place in Nigeria after completion of necessary formalities.
In December 2025, based on the credible information the EAGLE Force, Telangana police apprehended three foreign women at the State border who were suspected of involvement in drug trade. During the investigation they confessed that they had illegally entered Visakhapatnam after traveling from Delhi by air.
The trio rented a flat in the city and was found to be living lavishly while engaging in unlawful activities, including drug peddling and flesh trade. Further investigation revealed that all three were in possession of fake passports and visas, thereby violating immigration laws.
After verifying the biometric details of three foreigners at FRRO, Hyderabad, the police came to know that the deportee had an expired visa. A letter was addressed to FRRO requesting a Movement Restriction Order.
After receiving the order, three women were kept in the detention centre at the Central Crime Station (CCS) in Hyderabad. Upon receiving an exit permit from the FRRO, the police purchased a ticket worth Rs.46,500 and deported her to Lagos in Nigeria.
