NIA Team Searches Ramagundam House

The NIA is carrying out the searches at five places including Peddapalli across Telangana

Hyderabad: Ramagundam in Telangana was among the five locations where sleuths of the National Investigation Agency (NIA) conducted searches on Monday in connection with cyber terrorism case in Gujarat.


The other locations where the searches were conducted include in Junnar (Pune, Maharashtra), Nadiad (Kheda, Gujarat), Gopalganj (Bihar) and Delhi. The searches followed in connection with the ongoing investigation into case RC-01/2025/NIA/AMD (Cyber Terrorism Gujarat Case), registered on June 25, 2025.

The accused in the case had attempted sophisticated DDoS attacks against 54 websites of Central government entities, targeting critical computer resources and Critical Information Infrastructure (CII) during Operation Sindoor, with intent to compromise national sovereignty, security and unity, and to incite public fear.

Two accused have already been arrested in the case, which was originally registered by ATS, Gujarat.

During the course of investigation, suspects who provided support and assistance to the accused in the preparation and skill upgradation for carrying out the DDoS attacks were identified through thorough technical analysis.

Searches were conducted this morning at their premises after search warrants were issued by the competent court.

During the searches, various digital devices and documents containing incriminating material related to hacking activities were seized, and the suspects were examined regarding their association with the arrested accused.

A total of three laptops, five mobile phones and other digital devices, including pen drives, were seized following due procedure. Further investigation in the case is continuing.
