Traffic Diversions for Commuters Using NH44 Enroute Adilabad

Authorities have advised commuters to plan their travel accordingly and avoid the damaged stretches.
A section of National Highway 44 (NH44) has caved in near Nirmal, Telangana, due to heavy rains, causing disruptions and leading to the diversion of traffic.
The Telangana Traffic Police has issued major traffic diversions after the breakdown of the road network on National Highway-44 at Kamareddy. Heavy vehicles and trucks are being rerouted to alternative roads. Route 1 will take commuters from Medchal Check Post/ORR Exit 6 & 7 through Rajiv Rahadari – Siddipet – Siricilla – Korutla – Armoor, covering nearly 150 km. Route 2 diverts traffic through Siddipet – Karimnagar – Jagityal – Armoor, reconnecting with NH-44 after about 170 km.
