New Case Against Sunil Kumar Ahuja In Mokila, Old Cases With EOW
Several buyers have accused the Ahuja family and Bharti management of issuing threats and being evasive.

Hyderabad:The Mokila police have registered a case against one Sunil Kumar Ahuja for alleged land grabbing and criminal intimidation, based on a complaint from Sheikh Farid, a businessman, in a loan-related dispute.
According to Mokila police, Farid had borrowed Rs 17 crore from Ahuja, with land parcels in Mokila and Shankarpally as collateral. Despite repaying Rs 22 crore – covering both the principal and interest – Farid alleged that Ahuja refused to return the property documents and occupied the land.
Farid alleged that Ahuja started claiming ownership of the land and issued threats when confronted. Police have registered a case and bagan investigating the matter.
In 2024, Ahuja was named in an FIR filed with the Cyberabad police economic offences wing against Bharti Builders in a pre-launch scam. The `80 crore Bharti Builders pre-launch scam involved 250-800 families being duped after paying up to `14 lakh each for incomplete housing projects in Kompally, Banur, and Vijayawada. The project saw less than 25 per cent progress in five years.
Several buyers have accused the Ahuja family and Bharti management of issuing threats and being evasive.
Complaints have been filed with the Cyberabad EOW, Hyderabad CCS, and the Enforcement Directorate. Further investigation into the incident is underway.
