A woman killed her husband with the help of paramour at Gangapur in Narayankhed mandal.
Police said that Mutyam Reddy and Kalpana, belonging to Gangapur, have two daughters. Kalpana, working as a nurse in a private hospital in Narayankhed, developed intimacy with one Chintu.
The issue led to frequent quarrels between Kalpana and Reddy. Frustrated over the discord, Kalpana decided to eliminate her husband.
Nine days ago, she took Mutyam Reddy to Elgoi village outskirts in Manur mandal and killed him, with the help of Chintu. In a bid to destroy evidence of the crime, they buried the body at the same place.
Police registered a missing case on Mutyam Reddy but suspected Kalpana as her replies were inconsistent. On interrogation, Kalpana revealed the truth. Police exhumed the body on Saturday and took the accused into custody.
