Nani, ‘The Paradise’ Team Visit Medaram Shrine
Nani, Srikanth Odela, producer Cherukuri Sudhakar and actor Sampoornesh Babu visited the sacred gaddes at Medaram and offered turmeric, kumkum and jaggery to the deities as part of the traditional rituals.
Warangal: The team of The Paradise, starring actor Nani and directed by Srikanth Odela, visited the Sammakka-Saralamma tribal shrine at Medaram in Mulugu district on Tuesday and offered special prayers seeking the blessings of the tribal deities.
Nani, Srikanth Odela, producer Cherukuri Sudhakar and actor Sampoornesh Babu visited the sacred gaddes at Medaram and offered turmeric, kumkum and jaggery to the deities as part of the traditional rituals.
“It was a great feeling to seek the blessings of Sammakka and Saralamma.
I prayed for the success of The Paradise and hope it gives audiences a new experience. I also prayed that the blessings of the tribal deities would help us get opportunities to make more good films,” Nani said.
Earlier, the team offered prayers to Gattamma Talli in Mulugu district.
On reaching Medaram, tribal priests welcomed the team with traditional drum beats and performed special rituals before offering them teertha prasadam.
A large number of Nani and Srikanth Odela’s fans gathered from different parts of the district to catch a glimpse of them. Police made security arrangements at the venue.
