Deep Mela Kicks Off Grandly at HITEX Exhibition Grounds

Organized by DEEPSHIKHA MAHILA CLUB, the three-day mela will run from July 18 (Friday) to July 20 (Sunday).

Hyderabad: The much-awaited Deep Mela began today with grandeur at Hall No. 3, HITEX Exhibition Grounds, Hyderabad. The event was inaugurated by Ms. Nandini Mallu, Chairperson of Amma Foundation, who lit the ceremonial lamp to mark the opening. Organized by DEEPSHIKHA MAHILA CLUB, the three-day mela will run from July 18 (Friday) to July 20 (Sunday).

DEEPSHIKHA MAHILA CLUB, a prominent women’s service organization based in Hyderabad, has been actively involved in social service for the past 61 years. The club is dedicated to the empowerment of women and the provision of quality education to children. Since 1987, it has been running the Kanya Gurukul High School, which currently educates around 1,700 students. Under the leadership of its new president Mrs. Priyanka Baheti, club members have come together with enthusiasm to make Deep Mela 2025 a grand success.

Held annually for the past three decades, the mela has earned a unique place as a three-day fundraising exhibition that supports social initiatives and promotes local businesses.

This year, over 230 stalls from across the country are participating in the event, showcasing an exciting range of products including elite jewelry, designer wear, handicrafts, lifestyle products, gift platters, nutritional items, home décor, skincare products, and specially crafted rakhis. A wide selection of regional food stalls is also available, offering a rich culinary experience.

The mela is being held at Hall No. 3, HITEX Exhibition Grounds in Kondapur, Hyderabad, from July 18 to July 20, with daily timings from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM.

The DEEPSHIKHA MAHILA CLUB committee for 2025–2026 includes President Mrs. Priyanka Baheti, Immediate Past President Mrs. Radhika Malani, Vice President Mrs. Sangeeta Jain, Secretary Mrs. Bhavna Sangi, Treasurer Mrs. Meenakshi Bhuraria, Joint Secretary Mrs. Shivani Tibrewal, Member Mrs. Indira Dochaniya, and Advisor Mrs. Usha Sangi. Deep Mela 2025 promises to be a vibrant shopping destination and a meaningful platform for contributing to community welfare.
