Nagarkurnool Collector Asks Officials to Strengthen Road Safety Measures
Patil instructed officials to identify accident-prone areas and install warning signs and speed-control measures apart from ensuring proper street lighting and road safety indicators
Hyderabad: Nagarkurnool District Collector Hemanta Keshav Patil directed officials to strengthen road safety measures with the primary objective of saving precious lives.
He asked officials to remove encroachments on roads and footpaths immediately and clear encroachments from the SP office to the Collectorate. He instructed officials to identify accident-prone areas and install warning signs and speed-control measures apart from ensuring proper street lighting and road safety indicators.
Patil advised officials to create widespread awareness about the PM-RAHAT scheme and ensure immediate medical assistance and timely hospital treatment for accident victims apart from strengthening coordination among Police, Transport, Medical, R&B and Municipal departments.
Officials were instructed to implement effective road safety measures and take all necessary steps to prevent accidents and protect public lives.
