Nagarjunasagar Reservoir Nears Full Capacity, 24 Gates Lifted

Nagarjunasagar reservoir has reached near full capacity, prompting authorities to lift 24 gates to release excess water. The inflow at the project is recorded at 1,74,533 cusecs, while the outflow stands at 2,33,041 cusecs. The full reservoir level (FRL) is 590 feet, with the current water level at 589.30 feet. Against the total storage capacity of 312.04 TMC, the reservoir currently holds 309.95 TMC.
