Nacharam Police Nab Three for Providing Medical Services without Qualifications
The police said that the accused were providing medical services to the public without any formal medical qualifications
Hyderabad: The Nacharam police arrested three persons who were providing medical services without any medical qualifications, registration or permits within the limits.
The matter of providing illegal medical treatment came to light in a decoy operation conducted by the police based on reliable information. The police visited the centers in mufti posing as patients and inspected the medical services being provided there.
After determining that they were providing treatment without medical qualifications, necessary registration, and permits, they detained the three persons identified Mohd Ismail, Sai Teja and Srinivas.
The police seized stethoscopes, BP machines, thermometers, prescription books, syringes, various types of injections and vaccines from the accused. The police said that they were providing medical services to the public without any formal medical qualifications.
Police said that cases have been registered against the three arrested persons under relevant BNS sections as well as the Indian Medical Council Act.
