N. Ramchander Rao Confident of Winning MLC Seats
He said party workers must take the lead in registering eligible graduates as voters and ensuring they cast their votes.

Hyderabad: BJP Telangana president N. Ramchander Rao has expressed confidence that the party will win both MLC seats in the upcoming graduates’ constituency elections.
He said party workers must take the lead in registering eligible graduates as voters and ensuring they cast their votes.
Addressing a meeting on graduate voters’ registration at the BJP State office on Saturday, Ramchander Rao alleged the Congress and BRS governments had created anger among the people.
He claimed that educated voters wanted the BJP to come to power, pointing to support in previous graduates’ and teachers’ constituency elections.
He said victory in the two MLC elections would strengthen the BJP and help it win future polls in the state.
He urged workers to treat the elections as crucial for Telangana’s future and to work with commitment until completion of the process.
Calling upon workers to register family members and relatives, he warned against alleged misuse of power by the ruling Congress and asked the party to counter both Congress and BRS effectively.
Ramchander Rao said the BJP had a strong history in these constituencies, recalling that V. Rama Rao had won from the Hyderabad graduates’ constituency several times, while L. S. Raju and T. Rajeshwara Rao had also won.
He noted that after the Telangana movement, BJP candidate Ram Mohan Rao had lost by a small margin, but later the party won with a majority of nearly 23,000 votes.
He alleged that BRS leaders had claimed to spend more than ₹200 crore in another election but still won only by a narrow margin.
He also said a campaign against the Centre over “vote theft” was being carried out with foreign support. Referring to student union victories in Punjab and Kerala, he said unions with nationalist ideology had won, showing its growth among youth.
