The police found the involvement of Shiva after analyzing CCTVs footage

Hyderabad: Mahankali police have solved the murder case of an unidentified man, who was found dead on the footpath on S.D. Road in Secunderabad.
The accused had attacked the victim with a concrete boulder following a quarrel, which resulted in latter succumbing to his injuries. The police on the basis of the CCTV footage was successful in tracing the accused and thereafter he was arrested on Thursday and sent to judicial remand.
According to police, accused Donga Shiva, 31, is a resident of East Marredpally, and working as a daily wager. Inspector K. Parashuram said that the accused was an alcoholic and frequently quarreled with her wife and parents. Whenever there was a dispute in the family, or if he was late to finish his work, he ends up sleeping on the streets.
Similarly, on May 18, Donga Shiva after consuming alcohol was loitering near the J.K. Furniture Shop on SD Road under Mahankali police station jurisdiction. In the process of grabbing a space for sleeping, he picked up a fight with the deceased, which turned violent. Following sudden provocation, he attacked the deceased with a concrete boulder due to which the latter succumbed to severe injuries.
The police were informed about the incident and they said the identification of the deceased was yet to be ascertained. Meanwhile, a police team swung into action and with the help of CCTV footages, he was traced to East Marredpally and was arrested on Thursday.
The deceased is aged between 50 and 55 and is a vagabond and police are verifying his details. Police made appeal to the citizens to remain vigilant towards vulnerable individuals specifically on the streets and report any suspicious behaviour. Mahankali police sent accused to judicial remand.
