Hyderabad: MY Bharat, the youth engagement platform under the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India, invites Telangana youth to enroll as Civil Defence Volunteers. This national initiative empowers youth to support emergencies, disasters, and public crises.
MY Bharat aims to build a trained volunteer force to assist local administration with rescue, first aid, emergency response, crowd management, traffic regulation, and public safety.
“Amid growing emergency and security concerns, community-based response systems are vital,” the release stated. “Civil Defence Volunteers work with authorities to mitigate crises and aid recovery.”
