Musi Rejuvenation: Revenue Dept Summons Richmond Villa Owners for Land Acquisition Inquiry

Hyderabad:The revenue department has called a land acquisition enquiry on Wednesday, May 6, in Hyderguda of Rajendranagar mandal, Rangareddy district, including 50 villas in Keerthi Richmond Villas. This comes as part of the Gandhi Sarovar land acquisition linked to Musi rejuvenation process.
The notice was issued by the land acquisition officer-cum-revenue divisional officer, Rajendranagar division, under Section 15(2) of the Act read with Rule 21. The hearing is fixed at 11.30 am in the chambers of the revenue divisional officer, Rajendranagar.
The notice named Indra Prakash, president of Keerthi Richmond Villas Owners Welfare Association, as the pattadar, owner or interested person. He has been asked to present his contention, claim and objection filed on February 21, on the proposed acquisition.
The notice stated: “Notice is hereby given for enquiry to be conducted for giving opportunity of being heard,” and asks the claimant to depose his contentions. It adds that he may appear in person or through an advocate with documents, failing which action will follow as per law.
