Munagala Records Season’s Highest 46.5°C in Telangana

Nalgonda: Munagala in Suryapet district recorded the highest maximum temperature of 46.5°C in Telangana in the last 24 hours, the Meteorological Centre said on Thursday.
Data from the Telangana Development Planning Society (TGDPS) indicated that this is the first instance of temperatures reaching 46.5°C in the state during the current summer season.
Other locations also recorded extreme temperatures, with 46.4°C reported at Kalluru, Sathupally and Wyra in Khammam district, and at Chenchupally and Palvancha in Bhadradri-Kothagudem district.
In Bhadradri-Kothagudem district, 13 out of 23 mandals recorded temperatures above 45°C. In Khammam district, all 21 mandals reported temperatures exceeding 45°C.
