Multi-level Parking Complex Opens in Nampally
Azharuddin said the introduction of such modern parking complexes could significantly reduce parking-related problems in Hyderabad.
Hyderabad: A multi-level parking and commercial complex became operational in Nampally on Saturday. The 15-floor complex, developed under a public-private partnership (PPP) with Hyderabad Metro Rail, has 10 floors dedicated to parking, with capacity for about 200 cars and 200 two-wheelers.
The facility was inaugurated by ministers Ponnam Prabhakar and Mohammed Azharuddin.
Prabhakar said the state government was taking several measures to address traffic congestion and parking shortages in Hyderabad. He said modern multi-level parking complexes such as the one in Nampally were essential to ease traffic flow and improve urban mobility. Built using German technology, the facility would be highly beneficial for city residents, he added.
Azharuddin said the introduction of such modern parking complexes could significantly reduce parking-related problems in Hyderabad. He emphasised that similar facilities should be made available across the city at affordable rates for the public.
