Mujra party busted in farmhouse on Hyderabad suburbs, 21 held

Hyderabad: The sleuths of Special Operations Team (SOT) of Cyberabad police raided a mujra party in Moinabad and detained 21 people including seven women from West Bengal. Following a tip-off, the police raided the premises and detained everyone attending the party.
Seventy grams of ganja was also seized during the party hosted by one Abdul in connection with his birthday celebrations at Holiday farmhouse. The police detained 21 people on charges of indulging in obscene dances.
Police inquiries revealed that two persons identified as Babu and Reena sent the women from West Bengal to perform dances at the party.
Reena was found to be involved in a similar party hosted in the city suburbs earlier. The Rajendranagar police said that the cases were booked against all the persons involved in the party. These cases were registered under various provisions of BNS and NDPS Act apart from Section 349A of Prohibition and Excise department Act.( Source : Deccan Chronicle )
