M.S. (Traumatology and Surgery) recognised as feeder course for M.Ch. specialties

The move is expected to expand opportunities for specialised surgical training and address gaps in super-specialty medical education.

Hyderabad: The National Medical Commission (NMC) on Thursday announced that MS (Traumatology and Surgery) postgraduates will be eligible to appear for NEET-SS for M.Ch. super-specialty courses in neurosurgery, vascular surgery and plastic and reconstructive surgery.

The decision, outlined in a public notice issued by the Post Graduate Medical Education Board (PGMEB), allows PG holders in Traumatology & Surgery provisional eligibility for M.Ch. admissions.
