Arvind hits out at BRS, Congress; says BJP will bring Rama Rajyam, not scams, to Telangana.
Nizamabad: BJP MP Arvind Dharmapuri said that their family presented political alm to former Chief Minister, BRS president K. Chandrashekar Rao. BRS working president KT Rama Rao then had settled in the US, not believing in separate statehood for Telangana, he said. ‘Our family initiated for 42 MLA seats to then TRS (BRS) and which paved the basement to the Kalvakuntla family’, he said.
As part of Gaon Chalo, Basti Chalo programme, MP Arvind, BJP MLAs Dhanpal Suryanarayana Gupta, Paidi Rakesh Reddy, and National Turmeric Board chairman Palle Ganga Reddy offered milk to the statue of Dr BR Ambedkar here at Phulong cross roads on Sunday. Speaking to reporters, MP Arvind came down heavily on BRS and Congress parties.
BRS MLC Kalvakuntla Kavitha carried bags in a liquor scam, and Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy also known for carrying cash bags, MP Arvind said. BJP will carry only Nationalism and Hindutva, he said. BJP MP alleged that Congress party humiliated Dr Ambedkar and defeated him twice in Lok Sabha elections. After Congress lost power, then Prime Minister V.P. Singh, with the initiative of BJP, declared Bharat Ratna to Ambedkar, he explained.
BRS leaders have not yet realised the loss of power as people utterly ignored them, he said. BRS party is unable to contest in the elections as it had lost its complete base in the state, he said. People are watching BRS MLC Kalvakuntla Kavitha earned crores of rupees on her first business of beauty parlour, he said. Arvind said that under the BJP rule, Rama Rajyam will come up in Telangana state soon.
