Motorists face traffic woes after truck overturns in Lakdi-ka-Pul
Hyderabad: Traffic came to standstill after a container truck overturned at the ever-busy Lakdi-ka-Pul on Friday.
A large number of vehicles especially cars and bikes got stuck in the traffic jam between the busy road from Lakdi-ka-Pul and Secretariat apart from Khairatabad and its surroundings. A long queue of vehicles from Upper Tank Bund to Lakdi-ka-Pul via Secretariat was seen.
A few motorcyclists tried to travel from an interior lane from MLA Quarters in Adarshnagar to overcome the traffic jam. But they were also stuck in the traffic after reaching the main road at Ravindra Bharathi.
The motorists had to bear the brunt for over half an hour after getting stuck in the traffic. With the help of a crane, the traffic police removed the truck from the road and cleared the traffic bringing much needed relief for motorists.
