Mother, Two Children Found Dead in Vikarabad District

Vikarabad: A woman hanged her two children before dying by suicide at Chintakunta village in Tharoor mandal of Vikarabad district on Saturday. The deceased were identified as Vasavi and her two children, Saharsh Reddy and Vedarsh Reddy.

Bhupathi Reddy, a native of Chintakunta, had been living in Vikarabad with his wife, Vasavi, and their two children for their education. As Sunday was a holiday, the family travelled to their native village on Saturday.

After dropping them at their home, Bhupathi Reddy left for Tandur. Later that afternoon, Vasavi took her children inside the house and hanged them before taking her own life.

Vasavi's uncle, Sai Reddy, noticed the incident and immediately informed Bhupathi Reddy. The police reached the spot and registered a case based on a complaint lodged by Vasavi's father.

An investigation is underway to determine the exact circumstances and reasons behind the incident. Further details are awaited.
