WARANGAL: A horrifying incident occurred late Thursday night in Timmadapally village, Zaffargadh mandal, Jangaon district, when unidentified assailants brutally murdered a mother and daughter. The victims were identified as Gali Ranamma (58) and her mother, Thumma Annamma (92). The attackers struck while the two women slept in their home and then fled the scene.
Ranamma, the second wife of the late Gali George Reddy who died 25 years ago, had lived alone in the village until seven years ago, when she brought her elderly mother to live with her following her father’s death. Villagers discovered the bodies and alerted the police, who dispatched a clues team to the location. The victims’ bodies were taken to MGM Hospital for post-mortem, and authorities have registered a case and launched an investigation to identify the perpetrators and establish the motive.
