More SROs To Have Slot Booking From May 7, says Ponguleti
Revenue minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy on Thursday said the slot booking system for property registrations will be extended to 25 more sub-registrar offices across Telangana starting May 7.

Hyderabad: Revenue minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy on Thursday said the slot booking system for property registrations will be extended to 25 more sub-registrar offices across Telangana starting May 7.
During a review meeting at the Secretariat on Thursday, the minister said that the government has decided to scale up its implementation because of positive public response received for the pilot project in 22 sub-registrar offices since April 10.
An average of 866 documents were registered in these offices daily between April 10 and April 30, Srinivas Reddy added.
The slot booking system allows applicants to book their time slots online for visiting the sub-registrar's office (SRO) to register their documents, which reduces waiting time.
In the second phase, the system will be rolled out in Farooqnagar, Shadnagar, Maheshwaram, Vanasthalipuram, Serilingampally (Rangareddy district); Uppal, Ghatkesar, Narapally, Malkajgiri (Medchal-Malkajgiri district); Janagaon, Ghanpur, Narsampet, Bibinagar (Jangaon district); Mancherial, Peddapalli (Adilabad district); Kalwakurthy, Wanaparthy, Gadwal (Nagarkurnool district); Gajwel, Siddipet Urban & Rural (Medak district); Rangareddy, Warangal, Hyderabad, and Hyderabad South Registrar offices.
The minister reviewed feedback from the first phase, collected via postcards from applicants.
Officials reported that 94 per cent of respondents expressed satisfaction with the new system. To gauge on-ground experience, Srinivas Reddy personally spoke to K. Vishnu Goud over phone, a registrant from Champapet, who suggested improvements in Internet speed for booking slots.
The minister directed the officials to extend the system to all sub-registrar offices statewide by the third week of June. He also announced the upcoming introduction of Aadhaar e-signature to expedite registrations. Applauding the officials for the system’s success, he urged them to continue striving for efficient public service delivery.
The meeting was attended by principal secretary (revenue) Naveen Mittal, IG of stamps & registrations, Jyothi Buddha Prakash, CCLA secretary Mandha Makarand, MeeSeva director T. Ravi Kiran and other senior officials.
