Monsoon Preparedness: TGSPDCL CMD Conducts Inspection in Banjara Hills

Hyderabad: As part of the statewide Monsoon Preparedness Programme and the ongoing “Poles and Lines Special Drive – Walk Along the Line” initiative, TGSPDCL CMD V. Patil conducted a surprise inspection of the Sagar Society feeder area in Banjara Hills on Friday morning.
The CMD inspected the 11 kV power line near Mugdha Silks and reviewed various network deficiencies. He issued necessary instructions to officials and field staff for rectification of the identified issues.
Subsequently, he visited Road No. 10, behind Jubilee Hills Club, and personally participated in the tree-trimming activities being carried out in the area, while reviewing the progress of the works.
During the inspection, Patil emphasized the importance of timely trimming of tree branches located close to power lines to prevent power interruptions and ensure public safety. He directed the staff to take all necessary measures to avoid inconvenience to consumers and to ensure uninterrupted power supply during the monsoon season.
The CMD conducted a comprehensive line-to-line survey of the power network. He reviewed the condition of electricity poles, HT and LT lines, distribution transformers, jumpers, service connections, and other electrical infrastructure.
He instructed the officials to address the identified network deficiencies on priority and directed field staff to respond promptly to consumer complaints and ensure their speedy resolution.
Later, the CMD interacted with the linemen of the Banjara Hills section and advised them to remain vigilant in maintenance activities and continue their efforts to further improve the quality and reliability of power supply. He also discussed staff concerns and various field-level challenges with them.
