Mohan Babu, Son Manoj Appear Before Court

The complaint was filed by Mohan Babu under the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007 through a representative.

Hyderabad: Following a complaint lodged by Tollywood veteran Mohan Babu with the district collector alleging that his son Manchu Manoj had illegally occupied his properties, the actor and his son appeared before the district court at Kongarakalan on Monday. Manoj was directed to appear before the court in the coming week.

The complaint was filed by Mohan Babu under the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007 through a representative.

Additional collector Prathima Singh, acting as the magistrate, heard both parties. Sources revealed that there was a heated argument between the two. The hearing lasted two hours.

This is the second time Manoj has been directed to appear before the court. Manoj apparently claimed that he was also part of the property as the documents mention the legalities. However, the documents submitted to the additional collector are yet to be verified.
