Moderate to Heavy Rain Likely Across Telangana Till Tuesday

According to the Meteorological Department, rainfall is likely to continue across various parts of the state on Monday and Tuesday. Temperatures are also expected to rise slightly.

Hyderabad: Several districts in Telangana received moderate to heavy rainfall on Sunday night, with Jaggasagar in Metpally mandal of Jagtial district recording the highest rainfall of 76.8 mm. Sirgapur in Sangareddy district recorded 51.0 mm, followed by Kandi (42.5 mm) and Kadpal (41.3 mm).

According to the Meteorological Department, rainfall is likely to continue across various parts of the state on Monday and Tuesday. Temperatures are also expected to rise slightly.

Moderate to heavy rainfall is forecast in Adilabad, Kumuram Bheem Asifabad, Nirmal, Mancherial, Jagtial, Peddapalli, Jayashankar Bhupalpally, Mulugu, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Mahabubabad, and Khammam districts from late afternoon through the night.

Widespread moderate rainfall is also expected across central and western Telangana, including Nizamabad, Kamareddy, Sangareddy, Vikarabad, Medak, Mahabubnagar, Rangareddy, Siddipet, Jangaon, Karimnagar, Hanamkonda, Warangal, and Narayanpet, during the late afternoon and evening hours.

The remaining districts of Telangana may witness light, scattered showers.

In Hyderabad, a few spells of drizzle are expected during the morning hours, while moderate rain is likely at isolated places during the evening and night. The city experienced continuous rainfall throughout Sunday night.
