Karimnagar: A state-of-the-art catheterisation laboratory for diagnosing and treating cardiac ailments was inaugurated at Singareni Area Hospital, operated by Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL), Congress MLA Makkan Singh Raj Tagore announced on Sunday.
Accompanied by RG Coal Mine‑1 general manager Lalit Kumar, Raj Tagore inspected the new facility at the hospital in Peddapalli district’s Ramagundam. He noted that, until now, patients with heart emergencies had to travel to other cities for advanced tests and surgeries. “This modern Cath Lab will enable rural communities to access timely, high-quality cardiac care close to home,” he said.
