MLA On Wheels - Dr Kavvampalli Satyanarayana Goes To People’s Doorsteps To Solve Problems
This Is Not A One-time Gesture, But A Continuous Commitment

KARIMNAGAR: The Congress Manakondur MLA Dr Kavvampalli Satyanarayana launched an ‘MLA on Wheels’ programme to resolve public issues by reaching out to citizens directly rather than having them travel to government offices at Nustulapur village in Thimmapur Mandal of Karimnagar district on Thursday.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr Satyanarayana said that he is committed to serving the people. This is not a one-time gesture, but a continuous commitment and said that the essence of being an MLA is to serve, and not to enjoy power.
He assured that people will no longer need to bear expenses or travel to the MLA camp office to voice their concerns. By visiting different villages thrice a week accompanied by officials, issues pertaining to people will be resolved on the spot or escalated to district, state, or even the Chief Minister's level if needed, he said.
Dr Satyanarayana said that the inspiration for his initiative came from messages, one from a youth highlighting poor conditions at the Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Gurukul School in Gundlapalli and another from a son requesting assistance to save his critically ill father.
SUDA (Satavahana Urban Development Authority) chairman Komatireddy Narender Reddy praised the MLA’s initiative and said that by addressing issues at the grassroots level, there will be the possibility to solve nearly 90 per cent of local problems.
He highlighted previous successful outreach campaigns like Gadapa Gadapaku Kavvampalli and Palle Pallaku Kavvampalli as models that other political parties later adapted.
