MLA Inaugurated Indiramma Houses In Hanamkonda
Addressing the gathering, Nagaraju said the welfare of the poor remained the government’s priority and that the Praja Palana programme aimed to deliver benefits of welfare schemes directly to eligible citizens without middlemen.
WARANGAL: Wardhannapet MLA K. R. Nagaraju on Monday inaugurated an Indiramma house in Seethampeta village of Hasanparthy mandal in Hanamkonda district under the State government’s Praja Palana–Pragathi Pranalika initiative.
Warangal MP Kadiyam Kavya and DCC president Enugala Venkatram Reddy attended the programme. The MLA inaugurated the house built for beneficiary Goparaju Sugunamma and presented clothes to the family.
Addressing the gathering, Nagaraju said the welfare of the poor remained the government’s priority and that the Praja Palana programme aimed to deliver benefits of welfare schemes directly to eligible citizens without middlemen. He said the completion of the house reflected the objectives of the Indiramma Housing Scheme to provide shelter to the homeless.
Venkatram Reddy said the Congress-led government was committed to fulfilling its promises and described permanent housing as a step towards poverty alleviation. He urged local leaders to identify all eligible beneficiaries.
Local residents thanked the government and public representatives for the initiative.
