Mirchowk Police Arrest Accused in Fake Certificate Case

During the operation, police seized 15 forged educational certificates, a Vivo mobile phone, and a Suzuki Burgman scooter from his possession.

Hyderabad: Acting on credible information, the Mirchowk Police apprehended a 38-year-old man, identified as Abdul Rashed Khan, at Etebar Chowk for allegedly possessing fake educational certificates.

During the operation, police seized 15 forged educational certificates, a mobile phone, and a scooter from his possession.

Preliminary investigation revealed that the accused was involved in selling fake educational certificates to individuals seeking overseas employment, with the intent of making illegal financial gains.

A case has been registered under relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS). Police said efforts are underway to trace and apprehend other absconding accused linked to the racket.
