Minority Lecturers Seek Delay In Junior College Reopening

Hyderabad: The Government Minority Lecturers Association has urged the Telangana government to extend summer vacation for Intermediate junior colleges in view of prevailing heatwave conditions.
In a representation submitted to Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy on Saturday, the association sought postponement of reopening of Intermediate colleges scheduled for June 1. The association pointed out that holidays for degree and postgraduate students under Osmania University had been extended till June 6, and said Intermediate students were more vulnerable to extreme heat conditions.
