Minorities Society Launches Health Command Centre
TGMRIES vice-chairman and president Md. Faheem Qureshi inaugurated the centre on Friday on the occasion of Independence Day.
HYDERABAD: The Telangana Minorities Residential Educational Institutions Society (TGMRIES) has launched what it describes as the first fully integrated Health Command and Control Centre for its network of 205 schools and colleges across the state.
Officials said the facility would track and manage the physical and mental well-being of students through an e-health application linking doctors, counsellors, nutrition specialists and emergency teams.
TGMRIES vice-chairman and president Md. Faheem Qureshi inaugurated the centre on Friday on the occasion of Independence Day.
Helping Hand Foundation (HHF) has been engaged as the resource partner, supplying expertise and operational support.
According to TGMRIES, the arrangement would cover a wide spectrum of services, from mental health support and nutritional guidance to food hygiene inspections and emergency response. A dedicated team will review health data submitted through the e-health app, which is designed to link campus staff with medical professionals and counsellors without delay.
TGMRIES secretary B Shafiullah was also present at the inauguration event along with the HHF.
