Minor Girl Pushed From Building After Sexual Assault Attempt

Khammam: A 12-year-old girl sustained serious injuries in Khammam city of Telangana after being allegedly pushed from an apartment building by a person who attempted to sexually assault her.

According to Khammam II Town police, the girl’s family stays in an apartment complex where her father worked as a watchman. On October 6, a man residing in the same apartment allegedly attempted to sexually assault the minor atop the building.
When she screamed for help, the accused allegedly pushed her off the building. She suffered severe injuries to her spine and ribs in the fall. The girl has been rushed to a private hospital in Khammam, where she is currently undergoing treatment.
Police have registered a case and are investigating.
