Milad-Un-Nabi Observed With Religious Fervour

Milad-un-Nabi was celebrated across the erstwhile Karimnagar district with rallies and religious programmes, with officials calling for peace, brotherhood and communal harmony.

Milad-un-Nabi was celebrated with religious fervour across the erstwhile Karimnagar district on Wednesday, with rallies held at several places.
District collector Chitra Mishra and police commissioner Gaush Alam participated in a rally in Karimnagar town and extended their greetings to the Muslim community.
They said Prophet Muhammad’s teachings on love, mercy, patience and brotherhood were an inspiration to all. They called upon people to rise above religious and social differences, live together in peace and work for the development of the country.
They also urged people to uphold love, patience, mercy and human values and celebrate Milad-un-Nabi peacefully.
