Metro Services Unaffected by Ameerpet Fire
It did not cause any damage to the adjacent Metro Rail infrastructure

Hyderabad: Hyderabad Metro Rail authorities on Thursday said a fire incident near Ameerpet did not affect Metro infrastructure or operations.
Clarifying the impact, managing director Sarfaraz Ahmad said the fire, reported near Mythrivanam, caused no structural damage to the system. “It did not cause any damage to the adjacent Metro Rail infrastructure,” he said.
“There is no visible damage, the asset remains fully functional, and a detailed assessment of the affected assets has been taken up,” he added.
Officials said the only visible impact was limited to vinyl sheets on advertisement boards mounted on metro pillars.
Authorities confirmed that services were not disrupted and train operations continued normally, though dense smoke caused temporary inconvenience in the area.
