MeeSeva Centre Set Up at Praja Bhavan to Provide Single-Window Services to Visitors
The government said the addition of a MeeSeva counter is aimed at making Prajavani a single-window platform where citizens can both submit grievances and access essential government services.
Hyderabad:People visiting the Chief Minister’s Prajavani to submit grievances can now also access MeeSeva services at the venue, with the state government opening a dedicated MeeSeva centre at Jyotiba Phule Praja Bhavan on Tuesday.
The facility is intended to help applicants submit requests for a range of government services, including certificates issued by various departments and applications related to schemes such as Indiramma housing. The counter will function alongside the departmental help desks already available at Prajavani, officials said.
The MeeSeva centre was inaugurated by CM Prajavani in-charge and Planning Board vice-chairman Dr G. Chinna Reddy, along with nodal officer K. Vidyasagar and MeeSeva director Ravi Kiran.
Meanwhile, 321 petitions were received during Tuesday’s Prajavani. Among the grievances raised were representations from contingencyemployees working in police stations across Telangana, who sought payment of 18 months’ pending wages. Officials said Chinna Reddy spoke to Director General of Police C.V. Anand, requesting that steps be taken to address the issue.
