WARANGAL: In a move to streamline services for lakhs of devotees expected at the Medaram Sammakka–Saralamma Jatara, the state government on Monday launched a dedicated digital platform, including a mobile application, official website and WhatsApp chatbot.
The ‘MyMedaram’ digital toolkit has been developed as a to provide pilgrims with real-time information and essential services during the mega tribal festival. Through one-stop platform QR codes and dedicated links, devotees can access details on traffic movement, route maps, medical camps, drinking water points and toilet facilities across the jathara area.
The platform also features a missing person reporting system, enabling families to quickly alert authorities if anyone goes missing in the crowd. In addition, a grievance redressal system allows pilgrims to lodge complaints directly with the administration. The app and website also provide information on the history of the Jatara and a list of help desk numbers for emergency assistance.
Officials said the digital tools would help the administration monitor crowd movement, improve coordination and ensure faster response to emergencies.
