Mayor Inaugurates All India Chess Championship

Karimnagar:Karimnagar mayor Kolagani Srinivas on Saturday said chess helps improve memory, concentration and analytical skills among children.

He inaugurated the 4th All India Open and Juniors Chess Championship-2026, organised by Genies Chess Academy in Karimnagar.

Addressing the participants, Srinivas encouraged young players to excel in the game and bring laurels to Karimnagar and the country through their achievements.

Deputy mayor Y. Sunil Rao, tournament organiser K. Anudeep and others attended the event.
