MASTER project proposed by YISU team for four Mahbubnagar Govt. Colleges
Plans have been chalked out to launch an English and soft skills initiative for final year degree students

Hyderabad: A four member team from Young India Skills University (YISU) led by the Vice-Chancellor V.L.V.S.S. Subba Rao visited Mahbubnagar on Saturday to prepare an action plan for launching an English and soft skills initiative for final year degree students of four government colleges.
The colleges are MVS Degree College and NTR College, Mahbubnagar, BRR College, Jedcherla and Government Degree College, Kodangal. The YISU team was accompanied by their professional soft skills trainer team. The programme has been named Mahbubnagar Skills Training for Employment Readiness (MASTER).
In a detailed meeting held with Principals of all four colleges it was planned to first conduct an initial assessment of the 2,094 students about to enter the final year degree course next year. The assessed students would be graded into basic and basic plus levels based on the test results.
Each category of students would receive specialized English and soft skills training for the full year ahead, based on their levels and as per an agreed time table with the colleges. This would empower the students with better English communication skills, confidence, right attitude and personality development so as to enhance their career prospects.
The programme would be launched as soon as the CSR donor funding is secured by the MLA of Mahbubnagar Dr. Srinivas Reddy, who progressively suggested this programme to YISU.
