Mason Dies After Tiff With Cousin Over Garbage Dumping
Police said the victim, Nenawat Raghu, entered into an argument with his cousin Nenawat Ramesh after the latter dumped waste in front of his hut.
Hyderabad:A 35-year-old mason died after a quarrel with his cousin over garbage dumping at Singareni Huts in Saidabad on Sunday night.
Police said the victim, Nenawat Raghu, entered into an argument with his cousin Nenawat Ramesh after the latter dumped waste in front of his hut. During the heated exchange, Ramesh allegedly pushed Raghu to the ground, causing internal head injuries. Raghu fell unconscious and was rushed by his wife, Nenawat Geeta, to a private hospital, where doctors declared him dead.
Family members initially took the body for last rites to their native place in Devarakonda, but police later shifted it to Osmania General Hospital for postmortem at 3.30 pm on Monday.
Raghu is survived by his 10-year-old son Nenawat Abhiram and seven-year-old daughter Nenawat Aditi. Saidabad police have registered a case of culpable homicide under Section 105 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and are investigating.
