HYDERABAD: The Narsingi police have registered a case following a complaint filed by actor Manchu Manoj’s driver, alleging theft of a car owned by the family’s trust. Though the complaint was filed 10 days ago, the matter came to light on Wednesday.
According to Narsingi detective inspector (DI) G. Rajesh, the driver initially claimed the car had been stolen. However, it was later discovered that the vehicle had been taken by a family member. While the police did not officially disclose the identity of the individual, reports indicate that actor Manchu Vishnu was the one who took the vehicle.
“We, and the driver, were unaware that a family member had taken the car when the case was registered. The vehicle has now been recovered and deposited in the court,” said the DI. Further investigation is underway.
