ADILABAD: Thippireddy Gangadhar of Kannapur village went missing in the floodwaters released downstream from the Kadam project in Nirmal district on Saturday evening. The police were trying to prevent people, especially the youth, from thronging the downstream area of the Kadam project to catch fish and watch the water flow. Gangadhar was last seen struggling for his life, trying to swim through the floodwaters for some distance.
