Man Kills Father Over Harassment Of Mother

A man allegedly killed his father by attacking him with a stick and the iron frame of a tube light at Sudanapalli village in Seerole mandal of Mahabubabad district, reportedly after objecting to his father harassing his mother while under the influence of alcohol.

According to police, Venkanna of Sudanapalli frequently consumed alcohol and allegedly harassed his wife. His son, Sunil, who was aware of the situation, attacked his father with a stick and the iron frame when no one else was at home. Venkanna sustained severe injuries and died.

Based on a complaint lodged by the deceased’s wife, Maripeda Circle Inspector Pavan Kumar registered a case and launched an investigation.
