Victim’s body burned in forest area; two brothers arrested in Kadem mandal murder case

Nirmal: In a shocking incident, a 55-year-old man was brutally murdered over allegations of practising sorcery in Nirmal district. According to police, the victim, Desineni Bhimaiah, a resident of Gandi Gopalpur village under Udumpur panchayat in Kadem mandal, was killed on the night of December 10.
The accused, identified as Muthi Naresh (21) and his elder brother Mallesh (23), both from the same village, allegedly murdered Bhimaiah and later burnt his body in a nearby forest area to destroy evidence.
Khanapur Circle Inspector Ajay and Kadem Sub-Inspector Sai Kiran visited the crime scene and launched an investigation. During questioning, the accused reportedly confessed to killing Bhimaiah, claiming he was involved in black magic practices. Police have registered a case and further investigation is underway.
