Man Killed by Two Wives in Jangaon over Harassment
Two months ago, Kanakaiah, allegedly in an inebriated state, murdered his second wife’s mother, Jhannu Bhai, (60), in Gundala mandal. Since then, he had been absconding, occasionally returning to the village and threatening his wives and other residents.

Warangal: A 30-year-old man was killed by his two wives at Pittalonigudem near Yenabavi College in Lingala Ghanpur mandal of Jangaon district on Monday night, following an argument.
According to the police, the deceased has been identified as Kalya Kanakaiah. He was reportedly addicted to alcohol and frequently harassed both his wives — Chukkamma and Shirisha.
Two months ago, Kanakaiah, allegedly in an inebriated state, murdered his second wife’s mother, Jhannu Bhai, (60), in Gundala mandal. Since then, he had been absconding, occasionally returning to the village and threatening his wives and other residents.
On Monday night, he returned and got into an argument with his wives, threatening to kill them if they refused to give him money. The quarrel escalated, during which the two women overpowered him and attacked him fatally.
Later, the women reportedly dumped Kanakaiah’s body in a canal on the outskirts of the village.
Upon being alerted by local residents, police retrieved the body from the canal and shifted it to a hospital for post-mortem examination. A case has been registered, and both women have been taken into custody for further investigation.
