HYDERABAD: A 30-year-old man died allegedly by suicide at a residential apartment complex in Petbasheerabad on Wednesday. The deceased, identified as Sai Charan Reddy, a native of Biknoor village in Kamareddy district, had come to Hyderabad in search of employment. He was residing at Lingana Apartment in the Godavari Homes area in Petbasheerabad after moving from his native place.
Police stated that the man was unemployed and had been actively seeking employment. According to preliminary findings, he was distressed about not being able to secure a job after arriving in the city and also had some family disputes. He was found dead on December 17.
The death came to light after his father alerted his neighbours about him not answering phone calls. When the neighbours broke into the house, they found him dead.
Police registered a case and initiated an investigation to ascertain the circumstances leading to his death. His body was shifted to the Gandhi Hospital mortuary for postmortem examination.
