Man Dies in Road Accident

The lorry driver was identified as Ranjan Singh. Shamshabad police have registered a case based on her complaint and further investigation is underway.

Hyderabad: A 45-year-old man died after his two-wheeler was hit by a mini-lorry at Thondupally bus stop on NH-44 in Shamshabad at 7.30 am on Saturday. The victim, Mancherla Siddulu, a flower trader from Posettyguda village, was going towards Shamshabad when the lorry rammed his bike from behind. He suffered severe head and hand injuries and died on the spot.

The victim’s wife, Mancherla Geeta, told police she learnt of the accident from a fellow villager. The lorry driver was identified as Ranjan Singh. Shamshabad police have registered a case based on her complaint and further investigation is underway. Siddulu's body was sent to the hospital for postmortem examination.
