Man Detained for Possessing Gun at Lulu Mall in Hyderabad
The police found that the security personnel did not conduct proper checks while allowing the person with the gun into the mall
Hyderabad: The Cyberabad police detained a person from the old city for attempting to enter Lulu Mall in Kukatpally Housing Board Colony (KPHB) here on Tuesday.
The incident came to light when two families clashed at the mall parking lot. Upon receiving information about the clash, the police reached the spot and brought the situation under control. While questioning both the parties, the police found the weapon in the pocket of Siddiqui, a resident of the old city.
When the police seized the weapon and examined it they only found that it’s a valid license. The police found that the security personnel did not conduct proper checks while allowing the person with the gun into the mall. The police registered a case against the Lulu mall management for negligence and started an investigation, according to reports.
