Man Bites Wife’s Nose After Dowry Dispute In Mancherial

Mancherial: A man allegedly bit his wife's nose in a fit of rage in Kotapalli mandal of Mancherial district.
According to reports, Yenagandula Manichander, a native of Mallampet village in Kotapalli mandal, married Mamatha of Kotapalli nine years ago. The couple have two children.
The couple had been quarrelling frequently over the past few days. Two days ago, Mamatha and Manichander reportedly had an argument over dowry, following which Mamatha went to her mother's house.
Angry over her leaving, Manichander allegedly created a ruckus at her mother's house. During the incident, he reportedly attacked his father-in-law, leaving him seriously injured. He later allegedly bit Mamatha's nose, causing heavy bleeding.

Based on a complaint filed by Mamatha's family members, police registered a case at the Kotapalli police station and launched an investigation.
