Malkajgiri Police Cracks Whip on Traffic Violators

Hyderabad: The Malkajgiri traffic police launched a crackdown against the wrong side driving and those parking their vehicles in no-parking zones.

Following instructions from Malkajgiri Police Commissioner B Sumathi, the traffic police led by Deputy Commissioner of Police K Rahul Reddy booked as many as 2,727 cases during a special drive and a fine of Rs. 5.50 lakh was imposed on those who violated the rules.

Speaking on the occasion, Rreddy warned that strict action will be taken against those who travel on the wrong route, disrupting traffic and endangering the lives of others. He made it clear that motorists should park their vehicles in the allotted places and added that inconvenience to the public would not be tolerated.
